Rabbi Jeremiah Wohlberg was ordained as a Rabbi at YU’s Rabbi Issac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS), and thereafter served as the founding Rabbi of Congregation Ohav Sholom in Merrick, New York, for 47 years. He also served as a Hillel campus Rabbi, as a faculty mentor at Yeshivat Chovevai Torah, and as a past President of the New York Board of Rabbis, the largest interdenominational rabbinic group in the U.S. Rabbi Wohlberg also holds a law degree from NYU Law School, is a member of the Bar of New York State, earned a master’s degree in social work and is a certified social worker. His father, obm, was also a pulpit Rabbi and his two brothers currently serve in pulpits in New York and Maryland.
